Into the woods, and who can tell
What's waiting on the journey?

I'm Nikki, 21 years old (as of August 10th, 2006). My first two years of college were spent at Loyola New Orleans. August of 2005 I went over to Beijing, China to study for the next 10 months. This journal is to keep an online log of my travels, first is my trip to England, the rest is all China, from life in Beijing, to travels along the Silk Road, Sichuan, Shanghai, and others. It is open to the public for pursuing and commenting, feel free to friend me! If you are planning on going to China, hopefully it'll be a helpful tool on things to pack, places to go, etc, from an insiders view. Feel free to ask me anything! Enjoy!

::Note: I'm unfortunately and unhappily back in the states. My year was up June 2nd. Back to real life. I transfered to University of North Texas and changed to a Political Science major (in my senior year, stupid). Hope you all enjoyed reading about my travels. I'll never forget it. I love China and all the places I went to and people I met while there. Changed my life forever. Next time I get a chance to travel, you can bet I'll be back at this journal
